About Us
Central Valley Water Restoration is a water damage, mold, fire and smoke, storm, and commercial restoration company based in Fresno, California. We're family owned — a father and son who run the business together and still answer the phone ourselves — and we serve Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, Mariposa and Merced counties. We opened in February 2023.
We're IICRC-certified in water damage restoration (WRT), applied structural drying (ASD), and applied microbial remediation (AMRT). We handle the mitigation and restoration side of a loss ourselves — extraction, drying, cleaning, and documentation. When a property needs rebuilding or repair work, that part of the job is completed by our licensed general contracting partner, Gostanian General Building Corp, CSLB Lic. #346866.
We work with homeowners, condo owners, landlords, and property managers across the Valley, along with businesses that need commercial restoration. Every property is a little different — a raised-foundation home with a crawl space dries differently than a slab-on-grade condo, and a commercial building comes with its own scheduling and documentation needs — so we adjust our approach to what's actually in front of us.
Why We Do What We Do
This company started on a lunch break, not in a boardroom. The two of us — father and son — had already built two successful businesses together, and we were sitting under a tree talking through what to do next. Restoration wasn't a random pick. Between the two of us, we'd seen enough water and fire damage jobs, and enough restoration companies that didn't answer their phones on a weekend, to know there was a better way to run one.
So that's the standard we set for ourselves: if someone calls about water coming through their ceiling at 11 p.m. on a Saturday, one of us picks up. Not an answering service, not a call center in another state — one of us. We built Central Valley Water Restoration around that idea, and around doing the technical side of the job right: real moisture readings, real documentation, real drying, not a guess and an invoice.
We're still a small, hands-on operation, and that's on purpose. It means the person who quotes your job is very likely the person who shows up to run it, and the readings and photos you get are ones we took ourselves — not ones assembled by an office somewhere else.
What Sets Us Apart
A few things distinguish how we run jobs, from a customer's point of view:
- Someone answers, day or night. Call (559) 999-1447 and you'll reach one of us — not a dispatch center.
- You get the readings and photos, not just an invoice. We document moisture levels, affected materials, and progress at every visit, so you have a real record for your insurer.
- We're IICRC-certified in water damage restoration, applied structural drying, and applied microbial remediation — we didn't just buy a truck and a hose.
- We're family owned and Fresno-based, and we cover Fresno, Madera, Tulare, Kings, Mariposa and Merced counties.
We're also a member of the Central California Adjusters Association, which keeps us close to how local claims get handled.
None of this is complicated on its own — answer the phone, take real readings, write it all down, don't cut corners on drying. What's harder is doing all of it consistently, on every job, whether it's a Tuesday afternoon or a holiday weekend. That consistency is what we're actually selling.
Get to Know Us
Central Valley Water Restoration is run day to day by the two of us, along with the technicians we've trained to our own standard for readings, documentation, and drying. We don't have a large office or a layer of account managers between you and the people doing the work — when you call, you're talking to someone who can actually answer a question about your specific job.
We're a newer company, and we're still building out the photos on this site. You can see documentation from real jobs we've worked — equipment, readings, and finished spaces from projects across the Valley — on our gallery page. As we add team photos of our own, they'll go up here too.
Every technician who works a job for us has been trained to take the same moisture readings, log the same documentation, and follow the same drying standards we set for ourselves from day one. That's what keeps a job consistent whether it's one of us on site or a technician we've trained — the standard doesn't change, and neither does the paper trail you get at the end of it.
